Presumptive Democratic Party nominee for the November 2020 US presidential election Joe Biden has picked US senator Kamala Harris as his Vice Presidential candidate.
The former US VP and senator announced his choice via his Twitter handle @JorBiden. He described Kamala Harris as a fearless fighter for the little guy. He said she is one of American’s finest civil servants.

American have reacted to the announcement and it has been one of a mixed feelings. While some are happy that a woman of colour would be a likely vice president, others are angry for putting many blacks behind bars when she served as a prosecutor for the state of California.
The Republican Party through one of it’s handle @GOP said “Kamala Harris is now the de-facto presidential nominee. . . while Biden continues to hide in his basement.”

President Donald Trump who is seeking reelection tweeted a video mocking Harris and Biden. He called Kamala Phony and of the radical left and slow Joe Biden.
